Every brand fits differently. An Adidas size 42 is not the same length as a Puma or Li-Ning size 42. To be sure of your choice, the most reliable method is to measure your foot and compare in centimeters.
How to measure your foot
- Place a piece of paper on the floor against a wall and stand on it, with your heel against the wall and wearing the socks you play in.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure the distance between the wall and the mark in centimeters. Do this for both feet and keep the longer measurement.
- In the brand's size chart, choose the size that is equal to or just larger than your measurement.
💡 Between two sizes? Go for the larger size: in basketball, your foot swells during exercise, and you play with thick socks.
💡 Already know your US size? That is the most reliable reference across brands.

Peak, Skechers, Rigorer, Under Armour
For these brands, rely on your usual US size, or contact us: we can advise you before your order.
Our clothing is categorized in adult sizes (S, M, L…) and junior sizes (S-JR, M-JR…). Measure your chest circumference (under your arms, at the widest point) and your waist, then compare with the brand's chart.
💡 Between two sizes? Choose the larger size for a looser jersey or sweatshirt, or the smaller size for a more fitted t-shirt.
Adults
Nike, Jordan & Hoops (NBA jerseys, sweatshirts, shorts, t-shirts, joggers)
Hoops follows the same grid as Nike. NBA Swingman jerseys have a loose fit: if you prefer a more fitted jersey, you can size down.

Little Kids (3 to 7 years) and Babies
Jordan little kids' sets are indicated directly by age (3 years, 4 years...) and baby bodysuits in months (0-6 months, 6-12 months). If the child is tall for their age, choose the next size up.
Basketballs come in several sizes. Playing with the right size helps with dribbling, passing, and shooting, especially for young players.

Sizes 6 and 7: FIBA official regulation dimensions.
Indoor or outdoor?
-
Indoor (gym, parquet): leather or composite balls, better touch and grip. Avoid on asphalt, as it wears them out very quickly.
-
Outdoor (playground, asphalt): rubber balls, more resistant to wear.
-
Indoor / outdoor: versatile balls, a good compromise if you play everywhere.
Properly inflating your ball
-
Respect the pressure indicated on the ball, near the valve. It is usually between 0.5 and 0.6 bar (about 7 to 9 PSI).
-
The bounce test: drop the ball from about 1.80m high (eye level). When properly inflated, it should bounce back to between 1.20m and 1.40m, or about hip height. This is the official FIBA rule.
-
Use a moistened needle (a drop of water is enough) to avoid damaging the valve.
-
Do not overinflate: a ball that is too hard bounces too much, is hard to control, and wears out faster.
- A ball loses some air over time: check the pressure regularly.
Maintenance
- Clean with a slightly damp cloth, without harsh products.
- Store at room temperature: not in a car in direct sunlight or outdoors in winter.
- Do not sit on it or kick it: it can become deformed.
