Europe's oldest Basketball store – since 1994

Since 1994, Basket Connection has been much more than just a store. We are living witnesses to the evolution of basketball in France, Europe, and worldwide. We have grown with the game, experienced its emotions, shared its triumphs and its revolutions. For over 30 years, our only guide has been the orange ball.

When it all began in 1994, France was still dreaming of basketball under the influence of the 90s NBA: Michael Jordan was touching the stars, the Chicago Bulls were writing their legend. France, driven by passion, saw its heroes born. We were there when ASVEL dominated, when Limoges CSP won its mythical European Cup in 1993, just before our opening.

We have spanned eras, supporting young French talents, proud to see Tony Parker, our "little prince," fly to the NBA to become a four-time champion with the Spurs (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014). We cheered for the French National Team, silver medalists at the 2000 Olympic Games and European champions in 2013 thanks to Parker, Diaw, Batum, De Colo, and all the others.

In 1996, as the NBA exploded with the arrival of the Kobe Bryant generation, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, our Basketball store was already there, offering the first authentic jerseys and the very first pairs of Jordans in France at our Basketball store.

In 2002, Basket Connection became the first website dedicated to basketball in France, and one of the very first in Europe! You can still find our traces on Archive.org:

Throughout the years, our DNA has remained intact:

• To serve players and fans of the game.

• To select the best equipment, from sneakers to shorts, including balls and training gear.

• To inspire generations, from those who knew Vince Carter at the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest, to those who saw Victor Wembanyama debut in the NBA in 2023.

We have seen trends come and go:

• And1 and streetball igniting playgrounds in the early 2000s.

• The era of superteams with LeBron James' Miami Heat.

• The arrival of "small ball" with Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors.

• Today, a more international NBA than ever, with talents like Doncic, Jokic, Antetokounmpo and of course, our French players shining.

We have survived changes, trends, new platforms. Where others have disappeared, Basket Connection has remained, faithful to its commitment. Because our connection to basketball is authentic, visceral. Because you, our customers, have recognized your passion in us, your love for the game, and your trust has allowed us to endure.

Basket Connection is not just another basketball store. We are a home, a refuge for ballers, for dreamers and competitors. Those who know that behind every dribble, every pass, every shot, there is a story, a dream, a connection.

Today, in 2025, our mission remains the same:

• To inspire new generations, just as past generations inspired us.

• To continue living, breathing, defending basketball in all its forms.

We have been here since 1994. We are here today. And we will be here tomorrow.
